Keynote Speaker

Our Keynote speaker this year is Pastor Jones Ndzi from Grace Reformed Baptist Church in Mebane, NC, where he preaches, shepherds and trains men for the ministry. Pastor Jones was raised in the Northwest region of Cameroon in Africa. God gave him new life in Christ in his mid-teen years and upon graduating college he sensed a call to vocational pastoral ministry and set out to pursue that calling. He holds degrees from the University of Dschang, Cameroon; the Cameroon Baptist Theological Seminary; and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he earned a PhD in biblical theology. Pastor Jones previously served in pastoral ministry at Trinity Baptist Church, Douala, Cameroon and Immanuel Baptist church, Louisville, KY. He also served for over three years as an International Teacher with Teaching Truth International. He is an adjunct professor of Bible and Theology at Bethlehem College and Seminary’s extension site in Cameroon. Pastor Jones is married to the love of his life, Nicoline, and they have five sons.

Workshops

In addition to the messages provided by Pastor Jones, a selection of workshops is included in this year’s conference.  We pray these workshops offer relevant counsel to some of the issues we face as women.  Conference participants are encouraged to select from one of the following options:

Fear and Anxiety: Every Woman’s Battle
Speaker: Heidi Cook
Fear, anxiety and worry have become the constant and unwelcome companions of most women today, even among those of us who name the name of Christ. Where does come from? What does God’s Word say about it? Is there any hope, this side of heaven, that I can live with a quiet heart? This brief study is a helicopter ride over this vast and important subject.

Gospel Help for Self-Condemning Thoughts
Speaker: Katie Rohler
Our daily failures and injuries from others can promote self-condemnation and despair in our thinking.  Yet we affirm that Christ carried our guilt and shame to the cross!  How can we align our minds with this glorious reality?  This workshop will refresh our vision of how the gospel lifts our shame & suggest ways in which we can continually renew our minds.

When Women Pray
Speaker: Cathy Wakefield
My burden is to encourage women to have a better understanding of what it means to wrestle with God in prayer. To not let go until he blesses.  To go beyond only asking for daily needs and to have an increasing burden for the Kingdom of God.
